A change of fortune and clean break from the gate made all the difference for WHITE MOSS taking out the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes at Rosehill.
Patience from the connections and team was rewarded, with the Esplin Family owned and bred mare back to her best after last winning the Group 3 Nivison in late 2017.
Jockey Kathy O'Hara rolled forward on the mare by MOSSMAN and the five year old proved her class holding out the closing efforts of I AM SERIOUS and SAVATIANO.
After missing the start first up in the Group 2 Breeders Classic at Warwick Farm, it was rewarding to see WHITE MOSS victorious in a field that attracted a number of Group One performers. We look forward to seeing the mare continue her preparation, possibly the Group 1 Coolmore Classic her next assignment.
