Three year old filly SPIRITUAL PURSUIT maintained her perfect preparation with a dominant victory at the Canterbury night meeting on Friday 8 January. There was a sense of deja vu as jockey Kathy O'Hara guided the filly by SNITZEL x HAPPY HIPPY to lead the 1100m Rise Up This Autumn Carnival Handicap.
Heavy rain didn't faze the free-striding filly as she let down in the straight to open up and secure a commanding 3.3 length victory, with the suggestion of more to come. We look forward to seeing what the future has in store for this exciting young racehorse.
